Yamandu Costa, a 7-string guitarist, began his guitar studies with his father, Algacir Costa, bandleader of "Os Fronteiriços" when he was 7 years old. He later perfected his technique with Lúcio Yanel, an Argentine virtuoso who then settled in Brazil. When he was 17, he played for the first time in São Paulo on the "Circuito Cultural Banco do Brasil" (BB Cultural Tour). From then on, he was recognized as one of the most talented guitarists in Brazil. Yamandu has created his very own special composition, style and place between the typical music style from southern Brazil with higher tempo, and yet very delicate and melodic pieces. The recognition he has received through the years, reveals what he can offer the audience - recreating the magic of music that travels through his body and transforms it into something unique. Yamandu Costa, 7-strengs guitarist, begyndte sine guitarstudier med sin far, Algacir Costa, bandleder for "Os Fronteiriços", da han var 7 år gammel. Senere perfektionerede han sin teknik med Lúcio Yanel, argentinsk virtuos, der derefter blev bosat i Brasilien. Da han var 17, spillede han for første gang i São Paulo på "Circuito Cultural Banco do Brasil" (BB Cultural Tour). Fra da af blev han anerkendt som en af de mest begavede guitarister i Brasilien.
