Together with Jørck, Buchwald and Asger Techau, NYMALET is some of a talented star team, who have come together for a couple of collaborative concerts, as a tribute to the Danish festival summer, which did not take place in 2020.
The idea started at HUSETS's 50th anniversary in September, when the artistic couple Katinka and Buchwald gathered friends and the above-mentioned musical peers for a communal evening. The artists played songs from their own back catalogue, but also cover songs over the other artists music, altogether in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.
As Katinka emphasizes: “In our genre, there’s not much tradition of playing together and playing each other's songs. That, we think, is unfortunate, as it opens for a lot of play and a lot of new and different inspiration."

HUSET inviterer til en hyggefyldt gensynskoncert med musikalske talenter og stærke stemmer som Johan Olsen, Katinka og Christian Hjelm.
Sammen med Jørck, Buchwald og Asger Techau, er NYMALET lidt af et stjernehold af talenter der har slået sig sammen om en række fælleskoncerter, som både vil byde på covernumre, eget materiale og medvirken på kryds og tværs. Som en hyldest til den danske festivalsommer, der ikke fandt sted i 2020.
Ideen opstod under HUSET’s 50-års jubilæum i september, da det musikalske ægtepar Katinka og Buchwald samlede en række af deres venner og de ovennævnte musikalske åndsfæller til en fælles aften. Artisterne spillede nogle numre fra eget bagkatalog, men der blev også plads til covernumre og løssluppen hyggestemning. Og det er netop denne uformelle stemning, som de musikalske venner ønsker at tage med ud på landets mindre spillesteder, på deres kommende turne.
Som Katinka understreger: »I vores genre er der ikke særlig meget tradition for at spille sammen og spille hinandens sange. Det, synes vi, er ærgerligt, da det åbner op for en masse leg og en masse ny og anderledes inspiration.«
