Touring with Getz introudeced Jones to an international audience, and he has since toured and recorded with a multitude of renown artists, such as James Moody, Woody Shaw, Freddie Hubbard, Stanley Clarke, Phyllis Hyman, Stanley Turrentine, Masabumi Kikuchi, Michel Pettruciani, Dizzy Gillespie, Chaka Khan and Jimmy Scott....

The band has been diving into the mysteries and wonders of Indian Music, to take inspiration, flavors and colors from this grand musical culture. They have studied and investigated within the last year, including a travel to Koltkata in January 2016. Destilled from this adventure, Jonas Johansen composed new material, in his very personal way, for this groups first CD recording in the end of May. This concert will be the debut for this new material. Don’t expect classical indian music, but please expect Jonas Johansen music, that has taken new colors from a big musical adventure.
