Blanco y Negro consists of some of the most admirable jazz musicians from Cuba, Sweden and Denmark. With Danish drummer Jonas Johansen at the forefront, the orchestra has created its own sound and they have been returning guests on Montmartre’s stage for years.

Blanco y Negro tæller nogle af de ypperligste jazzmusikere fra Cuba, Sverige og Danmark. Med den danske trommeslager Jonas Johansen i front har orkestret skabt sin helt egen lyd og har været tilbagevendende gæster på Montmartres scene i flere år.

Orkestrets personlige og universelle lyd kommer af en kompromisløs vilje til at gøre tingene på sin egen måde. Musikken står på skuldrene af stærke traditioner fra Cuba, Europa og den nordamerikanske jazz og søger samtidig fremad mod nye farver, stemninger og grooves fra hele verden. I dette efterår er gruppen i gang med materialet til deres næste album.
