ILK Music

ILK is an artist-run label and collective of 22 musicians based in Copenhagen, releasing new music hybrids, avant-, improv- and jazz related sounds by artists acknowledged as innovators on an international scale.

The ILK catalogue also highlights a wide range of international collaborations with master musicians such as Paul Bley, Henry Grimes, John Tchicai, Andrew Cyrille, Craig Taborn, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jeff Ballard, Airto Moeira, Chris Speed, Jon Balke, Gerald Cleaver, Cong Vu, Han Bennink and many more.

Soon 13 years of tons of outstanding releases have resonated worldwide and ILK's music has been reviewed and applauded by national and international media such as The Wire, DownBeat, DR, BBC Radio, Lira, Politiken, MOJO Magazine, New York City Jazz Record & Jazzthetik.
