Hess has been living in New York for some years and now he is finally back in Copenhagen again.
He is perhaps best known for his ongoing collaborative project "Hess Is More". Other bands and collaborations include “Hess / AC / Hess Spacelab”, “3 x Hess”, "Small White Man", “2s and 4s”, “Hess / Vibskov Trommefredag” and “SH101 Nightmare”.
in collaboraton with artist Tal R he has released a duo drum LP with Kresten Osgood: Adieu Interessant
Mikkel Hess is also active as composer and producer of music for film, theatre and dance. Later works include music for the ballet “Det forsømte forår” premiering at The Royal Theater in Denmark in 2011 and music for the feature film “When Animals Dream” premiering at Cannes Film Festival 2014....

20-21pm Erik Kimestad / Jeppe Zeeberg duo "34 - Exorcism Concert"

two regular collaborators in Horse orchestra and Kresten Osgood quintet, this evening they are heard as duo, expect interplay on the highest level. they have both had an obsession with the number 34...this evening they are getting it out of their systems once and for all.

21-23pm Hess/AC/Ferm

The opening night of Mikkel Hess´ long awaited residency at Mandagsklubben. Here he is heard in a jazztrio with bass genious AC , who he has played with since he was 12 years old, and the amazing saxophonist Ned Ferm who is a Mandagsklubben favorite.

23pm Radek Wosko and the Polish future

Radek Wosko has been a steady force on the scene for some time now. Here he is featured in a new band: The Polish Future with two of Polands young bright stars. They will improvise chamber music

24pm Henrik Pultz Melbye’s Bronco

This new exiting trio is lead by the powerfull sax of Henrik Melbye. He is a regular member of SVIN amongst many other hot bands. the rhythm section of Vestergaard and Rask is one of the best. make sure you come to his!
