The band debuted at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2011, and it was a wonderful journey in music - both newly composed, improvised, jazz, world, beat, Ellington, Mingus, Chopin and everything the heart can desire - which the members just have to take again and again.

Emil de Waal's professional life as a musician began when he co-founded "Baghdad Dagblad" in 1987. Since then he has played drums with pretty much everything and everyone in Denmark, from underground over jazz and rock to sometimes more roomy genres in various TV house orchestras.

Gustaf Ljunggren is - in addition to being the silent Swedish conductor from Det Nye Talkshow with Anders Lund Madsen - a completely fabulous musician who can actually play on virtually all instruments. Always a surprise to listen to.

Bandet debuterede på Copenhagen Jazzfestival 2011, og det blev en skøn rejse i musik - både nykomponeret, improviseret, jazz, world, beat, Ellington, Mingus, Chopin og alt, hvad hjertet kan begære - som medlemmerne bare må tage igen og igen.

Nulle er en legende med sin klarinet og sit fantastisk udtryksfulde og swingende spil. Nulle har spillet verden tynd de sidste 50 år bl.a. med sit Verdensorkester og indtaget stuerne i diverse tv-programmer i samarbejde med Poul Nesgaard igennem årene.

Emil de Waals professionelle liv som musiker begyndte, da han i 1987 var med til at stifte "Bagdad Dagblad". Siden da har han spillet trommer med stort set alt og alle i Danmark, lige fra undergrund over jazz og rock til sommetider mere stuerene genrer i diverse tv-husorkestre

Gustaf Ljunggren er – ud over at være den tavse svenske kapelmester fra Det Nye Talkshow med Anders Lund Madsen – en fuldstændig fabelagtig musiker, som faktisk kan spille på stort set alle instrumenter. Altid en overraskelse at lytte på.
