Carsten Dahl anses i dag for at være en af de mest innovative og geniale improviserende musikere herhjemme. Han improviserer frit i jazztraditionen med kompositorisk genialitet. Dahl har modtaget utallige priser og lovord fra anmeldere verden over.
Claus Waidtløw er en af vores mest anerkendte saxofonister. Han har spillet med et væld af internationale jazzstjerner, her i blandt Toots Thielemanns, John Scofield, Eliane Elias, Jeff Ballard, Steve Swallow, Christian McBride og Kurt Elling.
Har udgivet en stribe albums bl.a. det DMA-vindende album Playhouse fra 2015.
Dahl og Waidtløw genforenes her i denne stjernekvartet for at hylde en af jazzens allerstørste, trompetisten Miles Davis - og især den ikoniske kvintet, han havde fra 1964 til 1969 kendt som “The Second Great Quintet”, med bl.a. saxofonisten Wayne Shorter og pianisten Herbie Hancock. ...
