Cafiso/Mezquida/Bodilsen/Lund at Jazzhus Montmartre

The Italian saxophone virtuoso Francesco Cafiso and the Spanish extraordinary pianist Marco Mezquida will appear on stage in the company of none other than Jesper Bodilsen on bass and Morten Lund behind the percussion. Already as a 9-year-old prodigy Cafiso began to play with internationally renowned musicians. He released his first album at the age of 14 and soon after Wynton Marsalis took him along on his European tour in 2003. Mezquida is despite of being only 29 years old considered to be a magician on the piano keys. He has toured the world with the best Spanish jazz groups and are compared to the Italian master pianist Stefano Bollani. Altogether, they have received numerous awards. Creativity, emotions and genius is blowing out of the two young gentlemen who together create an aesthetic musical storm. Den italienske saxofonvirtuose Francesco Cafiso og den spanske ekstraordinære pianist Marco Mezquida optræder i selskab med ingen mindre end Jesper Bodilsen på bas og Morten Lund bag slagtøjet. Allerede som 9-årig begyndte vidunderbarnet Cafiso at spille med internationalt kendte musikere. Han udgav sit første album som 14-årig og kort efter tog Wynton Marsalis ham med på sin Europa-tour i 2003. Mezquida bliver på trods af sine kun 29 år anset for at være en tryllekunstner på klaverets tangenter. Han har turneret verden over med de bedste spanske jazzgrupper og bliver sammenlignet med den Italienske mesterpianist Stefano Bollani. Tilsammen har de modtaget talrige priser.
