Benefit Concert: Music4Aida at Koncertkirken

The concert will last around 1 hour. A negative corona test is required to attend the concert (maximum 72 hours). You have to wear a mask when you enter Koncertkirken and when you go to order at the bar but you can take it off when seated. The bar offers beer, wine, water, juice and snacks. LINE-UP

1. Agnes Ea
Agnes Ea invites us into her magical universe and on the 7th of May she will play her songs in an acoustic version only accompanied by her banjo, cello and drumpad. Her music is more cleansing than winter swimming, so come to the concert, let her music cleanse you, and prepare yourself for a lovely Spring!

2. Alice – accompanied by Liva on the cello
In Alice’s universe clear melodies blend with marvellous stories about human being and nature. On the 7th of May Alice releases her songs, for the first time, in a simple musical accompaniment with piano and cello. Alice’s music invites you into the palace of senses to listen to the song of untamed prehistoric forces.

3. Alexander Wrede Elung
Alexander Wrede Elung is Copenhagen-based composer who has composed music for theatre and films. Alexander plays many instruments but on the 11th of December, he will play some of his own songs on acoustic guitar.

ABOUT MUSIC4AIDA:

In Music4Aida we believe that playing music can have a great impact on the well-being and the futures of children in conflict zones. Therefore, our non-profit Copenhagen based organization provides free music lesson for children and youth in Aida Refugee Camp located in Bethlehem, Palestine. The free music lessons are facilitated through our local partner Aida Youth Center who work to secure a better everyday life for children and youth in Aida Camp.

Det praktiske:
Koncerten vil vare omkring en time. Du skal kunne fremvise en negativ Corona test på dagen (højst 72timer gammel), og du skal have mundbind på når du går ind og når du går op til baren. Du må tage dit mundbind af, når du sætter dig på din plads. I baren kan der købes øl, vin, vand, juice og slik. Billetter koster 80kr. og kan købes gennem linket ovenfor.

LINE-UP:

1. Agnes Ea
Agnes Ea trækker os med ind i sit magiske og mytiske univers. Den 7. maj er de store elektroniske lydflader pakket væk og tilbage står sangene i en mere rå form akkompagneret af Agnes Eas firstrengede banjo, cello og drumpad. Agnes er inspireret af sangskrivere som Feist, Adrianne Lenker, Trish Keenan, Fiona Apple og mange flere. Hendes musik er rensende som en vinterbadetur, så kom og lad dig rense lidt og bliv klar til det skønne forår!

2. Alice – Akkompagneret af Liva på Cello
I Alices univers smelter klare melodier sammen med eventyrlige fortællinger om menneske og natur. Den 7. maj sætter Alice for første gang sangene fri i et nøgent akkompagnement af klaver og cello. Alices musik inviterer dig til ind i sansningernes palads for at høre lidt af urkræfternes utæmmede sang.

3. Alexander Wrede Elung på akustisk guitar
Alexander Wrede Elung er en komponist baseret i København, som bl.a. har skrevet musik til teater og film. Alexander spiller mange forskellige instrumenter, men vil i aftenens anledning spille nogen af sine egne kompositioner på akustisk guitar. Hans musik kan findes på sound cloud.

OM MUSIC4AIDA:

I Music4Aida tror vi på, at musik kan have stor positiv indflydelse på børns velvære – særligt i konfliktzoner. Derfor bidrager vores non-profit organisation til gratis musikundervisning for børn og unge i Aida Refugee Camp i Betlehem, Palæstina. Gratis musikundervisning udbydes hos vores lokale samarbejdspartner Aida Youth Center, som arbejder helhedsorienteret for at sikre en bedre hverdag for børn og unge i lejeren.
